The Mooresville Museum Oral History Project is an effort to record and archive first-person narratives of selected citizens of Mooresville.
The Museum now has over 25 oral histories recorded on DVD. You can check these DVDs out at the Mooresville Library.
The purpose of the Mooresville Museum Oral History Program is to supplement the written history of Mooresville, North Carolina and its surrounding communities through recorded interviews of individuals sharing their recollections of experiences, thoughts, and feelings about specific events or periods of time regarding community history, politics, agriculture, business, public health, medicine and welfare, education, religion and other general topics of interest.
Oral histories are collected, preserved and archived by the Mooresville Museum .
