The former home of Charles Mack and Sons Wholesale is now the location of The Mooresville Museum. The building was donated to the Town of Mooresville by John and Christy Mack in 2005.

McNeely Livery Advertisement Captain Carmi Kilpatrick McNeely, moved into town around the time of incorporation. Capt. McNeely was a school teacher. He also had a business with his brother Burgess Wilson McNeely, a livery stable on the site where the Gabriel building is now. He lived down the street in a home that Misses Mary Jane [...] This is the DK McNeely & Son store, circa 1919 or so. The building was originally the Harris & Sherrill Store Building.
