Mission statement
The Mooresville Museum, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to the preservation of regional heritage through:
Collecting, preserving and exhibiting artifacts
Providing educational programming
Promoting an appreciation and understanding of our history
Encouraging active participation from the community

Hours: The museum is opened the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 10am to 2pm. Also we are opened during town special events.

Membership
Membership to the Mooresville Museum depends on public participation to continue its activities. We would love to have your support. You can use our online store (link at the top of the page) to begin or renew your membership, or you can complete a paper application and mail it with your payment to:

*Family, Sponsor and Benefactor levels will receive Mooresville: The Early Years , available at the Museum.

To donate Mooresville items to the museum contact Collections Chairmen Wayne Whitlow or John Sparrow. You can contact Wayne or John via e-mail themooresvillemuseum@yahoo.com or leave a message for them on the museum’s phone (704-663-1873) At this time ONLY board of directors of the Mooresville Museum can accept items for Mooresville Museum. If someone claims they are representing the museum please check with us first before handing over your precious items!
